Paradigm Takes in “Bright Ideas” During Annual SNA Conference

Paradigm members recently attended the biggest event in school nutrition with nearly 7,000 industry professionals to share ideas, best practices and bring to life the vision for foodservice in K-12 schools. They had the opportunity to explore more than 850 booths during the 72nd Annual National Conference showcasing culinary trends and cutting edge food, beverage, supply, equipment and service solutions for school nutrition operations.

“The SNA ANC is a great networking event, giving reps and manufacturers the opportunity to connect and better understand K-12 foodservice trends and challenges directors face,” says Paul Slack, principal at Vader and Landgraf, Inc. “This allows us a better understanding of the solutions we as reps and manufacturers can provide. The Education market segment is very much relationship and long-term support driven. We truly value these partnerships and look forward to the continued focus.”

“This Conference is the best way to learn what is going on in our schools’ kitchen and how we partner with them. The school segment is very important to what we do and if done right, we are an extremely important resource to them,” says Christie White, regional account manager for Zink Foodservice. “This year I was able to see and hear their goals and concerns on many levels. With a large focus on menu development, food safety, proper equipment purchasing and growing need to better process farm to school foods, Zink Foodservice is heading into the school year well prepared to help our hard working school dsitricts.”

This year was particularly exciting for the Paradigm leadership as they were able to see a colleague and friend, Gay Anderson from Brandon Valley, South Dakota ushered in as 2018-2019 SNA National President.
